Can I use custom RGB illumination on Console?
Yes, any RGB settings you assign in SteelSeries GG Software will be saved to the headset. As long as the headset's USB cable is connected to an active device (Mobile/Switch/PlayStation etc), the illumination will run your custom settings.
Does the microphone still work when it's retracted?
The microphone will still pickup sound while retracted, but since it's a directional mic, it needs to be extended and in close proximity to your mouth to produce the best quality of sound.
Does the Arctis Nova 7 have better sound than the 3?
Both the Arctis Nova 1, 3, and 7 offer the Nova Acoustic System with the same fully custom speaker drivers, tuned for high detail and clarity of sound.
Does the illumination drain my phone/Switch battery?
The RGB illumination does use some power. If you want to maximize your device battery we've included a convenient slider switch on the right earcup to turn off the illumination when on the go.
What is the difference between the Arctis Nova 1 and 3?
The Arctis Nova 3 offers additional features including dual Zone RGB, and digital USB-C connectivity allowing access to Sonar Audio Software Suite's AI-Powered Noise Cancelling Mic feature for teamchat.
How can I connect the Arctis Nova 3 to my console?
The Arctis Nova 3 connects directly to your console using a USB-C connection or with the USB-A adapter which also extends your cable length. Connections are possible to a gamepad using a 3.5mm jack, but there will be no power to the RGB feature.
Can the Arctis Nova 3 support Xbox?
Yes, using the included USB-C to 3.5mm cable to connect via the headphone jack port on your controller.
