Q: Can I use my headset with an Xbox?

Xbox is compatible via the wired 3.5mm cable, which can be plugged directly into the Xbox controller. Xbox Cloud Gaming and local streaming can also be accessed wirelessly on desktop or mobile, and these platforms can support the compact USB-C wireless dongle.

Q: Can I listen to Bluetooth at the same time as my game?

Yes, the 2.4GHz gaming wireless and the Bluetooth audio mix together, providing tons of flexibility in combining audio sources. Bluetooth can be turned on/off independently using a secondary power button on the earcup and does not need the dongle to connect.

Q: Can my chat hear me talking when I answer a phone call over Bluetooth?

No, when starting a call over Bluetooth the microphone automatically switches over, muting your mic to the chat.

Q: Does the microphone still work when it's retracted?

The microphone will still pickup sound while retracted, but since it's a directional mic, it needs to be extended and in close proximity to your mouth to produce the best quality of sound.

Q: What's the difference between the Arctis Nova 7 and 7P?

The Arctis Nova 7 includes a ChatMix dial on the right earcup, which directly integrates with SteelSeries Sonar software on PC to balance game and chat audio. The Arctis Nova 7P also has a dial on the right earcup, but it's used for adjusting sidetone (mic monitoring) on the fly

Can I use my headset with an Xbox?

Xbox is compatible via the wired 3.5mm cable, which can be plugged directly into the Xbox controller. Xbox Cloud Gaming and local streaming can also be accessed wirelessly on desktop or mobile, and these platforms can support the compact USB-C wireless dongle.

Can I listen to Bluetooth at the same time as my game?

Yes, the 2.4GHz gaming wireless and the Bluetooth audio mix together, providing tons of flexibility in combining audio sources. Bluetooth can be turned on/off independently using a secondary power button on the earcup and does not need the dongle to connect.

Can my chat hear me talking when I answer a phone call over Bluetooth?

No, when starting a call over Bluetooth the microphone automatically switches over, muting your mic to the chat.

Does the microphone still work when it's retracted?

The microphone will still pickup sound while retracted, but since it's a directional mic, it needs to be extended and in close proximity to your mouth to produce the best quality of sound.

What's the difference between the Arctis Nova 7 and 7P?

The Arctis Nova 7 includes a ChatMix dial on the right earcup, which directly integrates with SteelSeries Sonar software on PC to balance game and chat audio. The Arctis Nova 7P also has a dial on the right earcup, but it's used for adjusting sidetone (mic monitoring) on the fly
