Prime+ FAQ
Why is the cable detachable?
We designed the cable to be detachable for easy transportation. Too often cables are bent or torn when put in a backpack when travelling to LAN events or even to a friend’s house to play games. To reduce this issue we created a detachable cable that is still easy to use, but sturdy enough for thousands of hours of game play.
What can I customize on the OLED screen?
You can customize almost anything you want with the OLED screen! A few examples that you can adjust are CPI, polling rate, lift off distance sensor, RGB colors and patterns, and OLED home screen view.
How do I quickly change the CPI?
You can quickly change the CPI by quickly tapping the menu button found on the underside of your mouse next to the OLED screen. Further edits can be done by holding the menu button down to access the full menu including the CPI customizer. If you want you can even download SteelSeries / GG to edit your CPI levels there too.
How do I always show my mouse stats on the OLED?
First enter into the OLED screen menu by holding down the menu bottom that can be found on the right side of the OLED screen. Afterwards, using the scroll wheel scroll down until you see “options”. Click the main left trigger to enter the sub menu. Scroll down again to find the section called “home screen”, and in this section you can use your left main trigger choose to select “status” to show your current mouse stats on the home screen, designs that can be uploaded via SteelSeries Engine / GG, or our SteelSeries logo.
What connection type is the cable?
The cable connection is micro-USB on the side that connects to the mouse and USB-A to connect to a device such as your PC or laptop.
